The entry form is filled in but the cheque is not. I'm going to wait to see how the training is going at the end of the month, as doing Clarendon Marathon in Oct. Fingers crossed all goes well and I say sod it and enter.
I'm looking forward to the run next weekend but have one question to those who did it earlier this year. Is there any showers at the end, I don't want to sound like I'm a soft road running person (done Hellrunner and Meon Valley Plod a few times) but I'm going to a birthday party in a pub in the afternoon and would prefer not to have to go home and change. Cheers
HT - I manage to get 4 runs a week in at the moment, I run with a local running club, who organise marathon training sessions. These are 3 times a week, mix of distance, threshold and hills. I venture out for the 4th run myself. Fortunately the family is right behind me and at the moment everything revolves around training or eating. I have given up alcohol in all shapes until after the marathon, as I would not be in any shape to train, so the time I would have spent in the pub I spend running.
Got Reading Half Marathon this Sunday which seems like a sprint compared to the 20 miles I have been running at weekends.
