Yep, I too noticed the mile markers were out and stuck to my garmin giving me the mile timings but felt for anyone doing the race without breaking it down by miles as they would have thought they were going to get a better time than they did.
But also agree, small issues with an otherwise great race.
Bit slow at some of the water stations to hand out drinks at the beginning and I agree that the finish (or not the finish as it turned out) was an evil tease but a great course for a pb. I got a PB by over 6mins and 2nd Vet 40 lady which I would never have dreamt of so I was very happy.
Great Tshirt and nice touch that the half marathon and full were different tshirts and different medals.
Would definitely do it again but next time no wind or rain please.....
I was told that it can get very windy around there? Im tempted as I have just completed London and frankly a little disappointed as there were too many people there and couldnt get a good stride so want to aim for another (Doh what did i expect with 30,000 runners!)
How windy??? I will enter today/tomorrow if someone could let me know
