Congratulations SS! What great news that both you and your LO are well.

Haven't been on for a week as I could hardly leave the housr without being sick! Managed to run this morning though and decided to take all your advice and justy judge distance and speed by how I felt. Ended up doing 6miles at just under 10min/mile and that was enough. I felt much more comfortable running a bit quicker than last time, but have been having a few cramps since I finished. Hopefully just coincidence but will keep an eye on it.  Must get new sports bras though - only 7.5 weeks but already I have tripled in size! Needless to say hubby loves it!

Hope you managed your run Mitchie Moo? Hope everyone else okay x

Thanks for all the advice, perhaps I'm being a bit paranoid! Will try to pace myself based on exertion next time.

Great to hear that you all keep running til quite late on. I actually think it's the sickness that's going to stop me getting out at the moment, I feel awful. Really hope it doesn't last too long. Nothing seems to be helping.

SS, surely you're going to pop soon! Impressive that you're still so active.

Thanks again x

Hello ladies,

Can I join in please? I'm 6.5weeks pregnant and plucked up the courage for my first run today since finding out. All the advice I've read is to keep the HR 140 or below. I was marathon training before I found out, running about 52miles/week averaging 8min/mile. This morning I had to shuffle along at 11min/mile to keep my HR low. I did 7 miles and thoroughly enjoyed it and it was so nice to be out in the fresh air and not in the gym. Has anyone else had to slow down loads to keep their HR low enough. I would rather shuffle and know my baby safe that push it and then worry if everything is ok. What kind of mileage does everyone stick to in the first trimester?

So nice to finally be able to post on this thread, been trying to conceive for 3.5 years!
