I tried to enter this race and had my cheque returned stating race was full. Yet it says entries on the day, will I get a place if I go there on the morn, no email address for organiser.

I have entered to give me motivation. My partner lives not far from North pier, I live in Plymouth, when I first saw the race I thought that will be easy cos when I visit I run along the sea front from North to south and back. Not done a lot of running lately so thought right my body is going south i need to get it back in shape again so why not do a approx nine miler!!!. Decided to try running and walking so run a mile walk a minute, I seem to be knocking minutes off my times so will continue. All the best

Thanks for that, looks like i will have to forget it. I will try for the ballot and if not sucessful try for the club place, it is all a lottery. It was my first time this year and I would have liked to run again next year. People say to enjoy your first one, but I think I was so worried about not getting around thats all I thought about. So next time I do it I am going to enjoy cos i know now i can get around. Thanks again.
