Quite fancy this marathon but am a little hesitant because I want to run the Duchy marathon in march and already have a place in the Edinburgh marathon in may. Am I trying to do too much???
Have run 2 marathons before (FLM 07 and Nottingham 07) and frequently run half marathon races without too much recovery time in between but am worried that I am trying to do too much in too short a period of time.
Any suggestions/advice or should I just get on with it???
I'm afraid that the 1in4 chance is correct and charities do require that kind of money. I ran the FLM with Seafarers UK last year - they requested £1200. As horrible as it may well sound, its worth looking through all the charity websites to try and essentially find the cheapest. I managed to raise nearly £1500 but in retrospect found that harder than running the race itself. I've applied again this year through the general ballot but if I am not successful I will be running the Barcelona Marathon in March instead. Combine a weekend away with a scenic 26.2 mile run Wish u look.
