David - thanks for organising the race and also many thanks to all of the marshalls. It was a struggle just to do the race and I can't imagine that it was much easier standing in the pouring rain for several hours! As mentioned by others some of the road crossings were a little dodgy but I can't see how they could have been managed better by the marshalls; I guess that that's the downside of an urban and very local race.

Anyway well done. It's just a shame that I missed the clubhouse as all I was capable of doing at the finish was staggering to my car and trying to get into some warm clothes!

I had a look round the website and it looks like the results are available; they just haven't been publicised yet. Have a look here:

 I'm well chuffed to get 10th having pushed very hard when I could (i.e. when we weren't single file) and then trying some more on that beach towards the end!

 Shame I lost my hat but still very happy.
