Georgia's dad,

I totally agree, the film with Annie Lennox and that beautiful little girl who has aids had me in tears......

Just a little bit of cash saved her life....... nuff respect "Sports relief"

Happycat,

Thanks for that i never thought of it that way, and yes that's a good idea to concentrate on your running form and perfecting your stride can help alot.

guys,

I have various running "buddies" all with different paces.what i do sometimes is set them off a few minutes in front and then set off myself to try and catch them.

If it coincides with my recovery run then i stick about the same pace as my partner with a few sprints for good measure.

Question? why not run with weights? I thought they would help boost training?

Guys,

I wear my running kit many many times before washing it,and i can't say i have notice that it starts to smell? but maybe thats why i end up running on my own!!!. But seriously i have seen me get away with wearing the same kit for over a weeks worth of runs, before i stick it in the wash.I know this may sound gross.... but why wash it everytime? its only going to get sweaty again and it cuts down on my familys laundry.

However there is nothing better than pulling on a nice clean smelling running top / gear on the morning before an eagerly anticipated race!

night night
