Thanks to all at TZ runs. Flawless organisation, great event with so much enthusiasm from marshals, volunteers, and spectators alike.
The 17 laps turned out to be not boring at all, seeing your supporters every 14 or so minutes was all the motivation I needed.
I just don't know if I beat 4 hours or not?
As I came up the final hill on the final lap I saw the clock at 3.59 something, so had to sprint, while trying to carry my 1 y-o, and hold my 4 y-o's hand over the finish line.
The time is but a number though, memories of a great day will last...
Start with 16 bands on lap 1 (16+1=17)
Take one off at start of each subsequent lap, so lap 2 (15 left + 2 (lap2))
Lap 3 (14+3) ... Til you get to last 17th lap (0 bands + 17) and you know you're on last circuit.
The course is a little exposed in places so wind could be a factor.
2 1/2 weeks to go.
Ran London and haven't really gone for masses for miles in recent weeks.
One 7 mile, one 14 mile, one 10 mile, one 20 mile, planning 8 miles tomorrow morning and a 22 miler at the weekend before "semi tapering"
Anyone else praying for the weather to cool off by then?
Aiming for 345-350 ish, hoping to catch a view of Mo as I come off Tower Bridge and he is steaming the other way!
Has anyone got a link or instructions on how people can track us on the day please?
