good luck all berlinites will be there cheering you on and maybe on the start line but last minute injury is making that increasingly unlikely. if I do start my abc target is 2.29. whatever enjoy the sausage....
SL trying to catch up on some older posts. congratulations on MB absolutely stunning stuff. 1st Brit and inside top 50 is increble and owes so much to your determination. Really inspiring stuff well done
muss great weekly mileage and very tough 20 miler well slogged out
al-p top 10 miler all seems to be going the right way for you now. glad NF10 was a success, congrats to mr boat and ji
padams top drinking and run combo; not too shabby 5k for tough course
es more consistent training shame about official 5k but off the back of tough week
cw nice hill training. take care in the sun, i'm awful in it and never remember to run wearing protection
did my 8 mile easy on sat then 22 miler on sunday in 2.25 mins not bad consider legs took ages to get going....first 6 miles took over 45 mins! so last 16 mile in under 1.40 so not too bad in end. 89.3 miles last week at average pace 6.42 mm...pretty pleased with that and fresh for my morning 4 today, 6 tonight
TT thats rubbish about the migraine. shame about the 10k but more races to come
muss top week, great 5k pb and sub17 just around the corner. nice tempo 10 too
pp your sessions are insane and you club obviously has masses of quality runners in it. Your 10 mile session is something I could never get near in training. amazing speed endurance for training sesh
padams sounds like a frustrating race being stuck behind 'numpties' and odd marshalling distractions
al-p glad to hear you're getting your mojo back. was good to come in front of PT at Portland I don't think he's quite at his best yet but he's going for pb in Amsterdam (currently 2.29.33) and all his current pbs are quicker than mine so coming in nearly a minute ahead after being second in the race until 6 miles was good.
easy 4+6 double thurs, 13 with 5 mile tempo yesterday...legs fried though and had bottle champagne and red wine thursday night for wife's birthday felt awful in sun. 5 miles ended up being 28.05ish which is closer to what I hope is MP will be. 8 easy planned for today then with LR tomorrow should be pushing towards 90 miles for the week. considering I've only ever made 80 miles in a week once before it will be quite something and may explain why my legs feel destroyed!
PP good going, sounds very exciting indeed and looking to peak just right for Berlin. nice MP/5k pace mixed session
TT glad things seem ok after scare. Kenya...woohoo! hope 10ks gone ok
I'm ok, went a bit from the gun after VMLM and lowest mileage week has been 40 miles since then (ran every day for about 4 weeks after london which left me a little burnt out). starting to feel bit more like myself this week with 12 weeks before Berlin. depending how training goes goal is 2.29.59 or anything under.BRING.IT.ON
just over 15 mile tonight strong winds in 1.36. had good win at weekend at hilly Portland 10 mile coming in ahead of a very good bac runner so pretty pleasing but need to get my speed up...may have to wait until after berlin
