Parkrun today for me 1.5 m wu/wd had no idea how would feel only 6 days after marathon but was fine. Not run much this week but all of it has felt good adding weight to fluid balance being issue at Abingdon. 2nd today 16.36 looking forward to trying to get 10k/5k down over next couple of months
dan a thanks for the lovely tshirt. wore it running up to and from the pub last night! got some looks when i walked out of the pub at 11.30pm after 4 pints and a burger and took off me jeans to reveal my very short shorts before dashing home....
i'm short. everyone seems to be hobbits on here! correlation between short runners and quick marathoners??
banksy hmmm not sure on that one. I'd be all for 20 miler which I think you need but near doubling of mileage in last 3 weeks is just asking for trouble. My vote is stick; you were planning to blag on shorter stuff anyway which isn't ideal but can be done and definitely better than getting injured. HM on sunday with wu/wd then 17/18 miler 2 weeks out without increasing total weekly mileage
