Some good training going on - it`s a bit early to go completely mad.
I`m just building up the elevation & time on my feet this far out. Did the two day Pilgrims Challenge (33M e/w) over North Downs Way at the weekend - bit gutted I was missing an XC event but I didn`t need to worry as it was a mudfest
Used it mainly to practice running downhill when tired. Day one = 7:23 & Day two = 7:33.
I was gagging for a few beers last year. I didn`t have any at the finish, the coach seem to takes ages. Thankfully the coach dropped me right outside my hotel. I had the quickest shower in history & got in the hotel bar.....only to be told they were closing in 40 mins or so. We managed to get them to extend it & I lined up the beers in 3`s (the shame) plus tool several back to the room.....
I think it was about 2 am by the time I finished and settled down enough to sleep.
That`s `runner`s high` for you
So yep up for a meet afterwards.
SD - Well done at the HK100 (I was following it on the iRunFar twitter feeds)
