TR you are made of stern stuff. It sounds like complete and utter hell to me. I have a rule about avoiding any race that requires a compass which I think I will stick to! Fair play to you. I hope that you are keeping all these tales somewhere safe ready for the much anticipated book? I am serious these tales would loads better than most of the running books out there at the moment.
First day of the Nov Nightmare then Brer. Must admit I do like that loop course in an odd way. Hoping, all being well, to do the final day on the Friday. One day might even do the whole week but I think it will be 2020 before there isn't a clash of dates with SNOD.
That is one unbelievably grim day TR. Look forward to reading the final instalment. Very appropriate quote by the way!
TR, I developed a nagging pain in my left foot while doing a few miles down in Cornwall week before last and put it down to running on sand. It has improved as it no longer bothers me when walking but still an issue to run any distance. Need to get some long back to back runs in for a double attempt so taking a few days off then have another go at the weekend.
Cheers Brer. That is some racing schedule. You doing any of Denzil's races this autumn?
Some serious running going on! Well done Brer and TR on your ultra adventures. Feels like the pre SNOD buzz is starting. Only 40 more sleeps!
I have been on my hols in not very sunny Cornwall last week. Some great running along the coast path and the miles of sand at Hayle. Don't know if it was the change running surface but seem to have developed a persistent pain on the outside of my left foot. Taking a few days off as planning on back to back long runs this weekend.
