ooo stuckathome what a miscredit to leave at Arthur Lydiards door! He's a New Zealander that much is true but he is the grand daddy of jogging (who isn't at all into the modern running shoe cushioning). He's credited with popularising running for all-comers, aka jogging, which at the time was a distinction from elite running for competitive athletes e.g. his running clinic for folks recovering from heart conditions. I'm a plodder anyhow - people jogging for the bus often overtake me.
Well it may well entice new members and so it should - at the very least it's awoken this sleepy member. This opportunity seems to have a lot more pros than cons - true Paris ain't no London but you also get to go to Birmingham...or is it Manchester ? Those 4 December locations under 'Who we're looking for' and 'how to apply' perhaps point to the first test of endurance running??
