First ultra and i will be back, fantastic race, although my legs are a bit of a mess at the moment. 6hr 59 so very happy with that, chatted to loads of different runners along the route, very friendly indeed and the checkpoints had enough provisions for you to get around without taking your own, which i did!.

Spectacular scenery, but who on earth put a 500ft drop at 37 miles to get over the over side of the gorge! Sadistic is an understatement! great race, will defo be back next year

i reckon you will be fine, if your running 10 miles and doing 30-40 a week you will complete it, maybe do some circuit training to help your core strength and other things as it will invole climbing up walls etc!!

I would also recommend a fair bit of hill training, perfect preperation. if your on facebook or twitter follow total warriour UK and they have updates weekly and training tips

Signed up for the 10k race on the Saturday, looks brilliant fun, myself and 15 colleagues/mates are doing it, hopefully in fancy dress as Smurf's

I've done Hell up North and i reckon this will be tougher, and there's an after party with a complimentary beer!

Get signed up looks well worth the entry fee
