Hello, Running buddy!  Do what I do and use Bristol Park and ride on the day! See you later for an easy 5?

Hi,

It's me again.

Just wondered what sort of training people are planning on doing? Having looked at quite a few training plans, most of them are for 16 weeks, is that really enough time? I've joined the gym and started swimming to improve general fitness but what about the running part?   any ideas.........

 Hi,

I'm a forum newbie and so let me know if I'm doing anythng wrong!

I got a place in the FLM after my fourth appliaction - hooray! My husband did it this year in 4:30 and so that's my target (faster would be great!).

I've done a couple of halfs before but with minimal training. I want to well and so I am planning to do loads of training and hopefully get it right.

Would be great to exchange training tips and find out how other's are doing with their training - I'm not looking forward to the cold and wet winter training!
