Hi My name is Kristian Mears and I am 33 years Old.

Brief running history:

It started in 98 with the GNR and a time of 2.05 which I found frustrating. I managed to get a ballot place in the London Marathon in 99, 03 and 07. My best time was 4.50 and slowest was 5.27 last year. This has not disheartened me and I keep plugging on. I am currently into Half marathons having completed Bath, Torbay and Bristol this year and I've entered Bath again next year. I am still to break 2 hours!

Reason why we should train you:

I know I'll never be an elite runner but I am a trier! I would really love to have the backing of a team to help push me to my goal and through doing that help others in my position. I am not the stereotypical habitus for a marathon runner but just like running and hopefully I can communicate that to others. Also being a GP I must practice what I preach!

Predicted marathon time: I would love to break 4 hours with your help although sub 4.25 is more realistic.
