my best moment, my husband actually seeing me outside our hotel
my worst moment, quite a few, was going great guns up to ml 20 on track for sub 4.15 then the heat got to me and i was sick a couple of times unfortunatly over the shoes of one of the St Johns ambulance ladies (sorry) i made it over the finish line in 4.43.46 so dissapointed with myself but everbody else says it was ok, i'll get over it!
i agree the t-shirt is crap
the crowd was amazing a bit disconcerting at times just the sheer volume of people,i also agree about some of the runners etiquet, shoving pushing and lobbing water bottles anywhere, not sure yet whether i enjoyed it but am supposed to be doing edinburgh in may, we'll see!
hi, ive seen the doctor today and its sciatica, trapped nerve in other words, rest and phsio, so i'm hoping it wont be too long before i'm on the mend, thanks for your help, hope you get sorted soon, viv
Hi, can anyone help me to decide whats wrong with my whole leg, it aches from deep inside my buttock down to my ankle, ive been massaging it and its helped a bit, it is really painful first thing in the morning and gets a bit better during the day,i did belton 10k and it had a really steep hill which i had to walk up, so wonder if thats what caused it, didnt hurt at the time, but came on a couple of days later, not so bad to start with , but seems to be getting worse, viv
Hi, its my local area, i did my first half here two years ago, its very flat, and quite open in places so if its windy it can make it hard going, sadly there is not a lot of local support so it can be quite lonely , the full distance goes out into the villages around and is a bit undulating, not what you could call hilly, hopefully i will be entering probably the half again, viv
