Would newcomers be welcome in this race? Never raced before but dying to give it a go. I mostly train on the treadmill due to committments, the odd run is outside but as a local girl I know the Taff Trail so am really tempted to go for it. Any advice would be gratfully received!!!
Starting to get a bit nervous now!! At 36 Sunday mornings are about lie-ins and breakfast in bed aren't they??? Why have I got the urge to get out of bed and run 10k for the first time?? Could I be hitting a mid life crisis??
I'm doing my first 10k on 6 July! Been dying to enter a race for ages and have finally pkucked up the courage. Hope mine goes as well as yours obviously did!!!
Bearing in mind I'm new to running, is time an issue? I'll probably be looking at 55 mins?!? Or will everyone have gone home by then and be tucking into Sunday dinner???
