Can anyone help? My lower back is very painful only when I run uphill!! If I'm out for a run - flat, downhill no probs, but as soon as I hit a hill on it comes - low back right across my back from hip to hip. What am I doing wrong?

I wonder if anyone can help? - Both my mate and me are following Hal Higdons novice training plan. After our 10 mile & 12 mile long runs we're both suffering from severe headaches for the rest of the day. This is getting us both down and with a 13 miler ahead of us aren't looking forward to Saturday. We've taken headache tabs before and after running and drink water before we start, during and after our run. What are we doing wrong?
