Hmm. It starts in Edinburgh, goes through Portobello and ends in Musselburgh so it's not running through a major cities main streets and/or tourist spots. There were many locals out cheering, giving out drinks and sweets. The baggage was well organised. Heavy duty medal and a much better t-shirt than many others around. Reasonable facilities at the end and good repatriation area. Great charity village for those involved at that level. Yes, a bit of a walk to the bus but there were plenty of them and it's not a bad journey for £4. Yes, it probably could be improved but un terms of VFM it knocks many a race in UK/Europe/USA into a cocked hat
