I came across the 1:30 pacer just before half way. I started a little late because of the queue at the start and thought they were a bit quicker than 7 min/m too! Very difficult to get around as well!
Enjoyed the race very much(once we got going) especially the beef jerky and the bog roll!
That shirt really stood out, I AMsterdam on the back. there we're half a dozen of us who started and finished about the same time. The middle 3rd is always the hardest for me so when I started flagging a bit I tried catching you all up again, that really kept me going! I had a bright yellow t-shirt and black shorts! Cheers guys!
Really chuffed with the run in most aspects. well organised, great support from the crowd and other runners too... I managed to knock over 7 minutes off my warrington time from october despite the "slight breeze" which made it feel like i was still dragging my bloody suitcase around! Did the first 3 miles in 18:30, thought i'd better take a bit off the pace, turns out i didn't have much choice!!! Well done to all involved!
