This is the profile of last years course (hopefully easy enough to see?) - I'd say total climbing is easily over 1000ft. The course is pretty soft at the moment with a few really muddy patches, but overall easier going than previous years - the mud's more claggy when not as wet which is a pain! Almost all of the snow has recently melted across the hills so those sections are pretty slick. Walking the dogs up terminator hill today was pretty slippy with stodgy mud sticking to my boots. Seems to be a bit of rain forecast for next week, so should be good.

Fair enough - really took me by suprise!! That was indeed a VERY muddy run today - started off pretty dry and then....... a bit of rain, plenty of mud & finally the ditch! Awesome!

hmmmm - I live in Pewsey and haven't spotted many freshly ploughed areas (or am I taking that too litterally?)... along green drove? Conditions today by the way are filthy, but still time to dry out or get worse....
