I got 26.42. But we all know GPS are only accurate to within a certain percentage, that's why UKA don't like them, they cause too much controversy. Top day, good organisation, good route and mud in the eye for a lot of the pseudo-elites of the Hull and surrounding area who tried everything they could to spoil the day, before, during and after the event. (You know who you are ) Anyone got a spare bottle (or two ) of Blue Keld? Here's to Karl Jackson and Hull Marathon 2013.! |

Think I'm just going to have to try all the free ones then buy the upgraded version of the one I like best.
That means making a decision. Why can't life just be simple? |

I've tried mapmyrun but the live tracking feature on the full site has never worked also the elevation doesn't seem to be very accurate most of the time.
I've tried CardioTrainer but people can't see my maps when they follow the links.
Can anyone point me on the direction of a reliable Android app. that does exactly what it Isays on the tin? |

Looks good to me. Should be running parts of the course many times between now and race day. Will sit down with calendar in next coupla days and see what's what, then ping Derpa and your good self my plans (approx starting points/times etc.) via the message thingy on here and we'll take it from there. In the meantime, .................................... keep on runnin'! |

Ironholgs. Your book was on my Christmas List (along with many others!) and I've finally finished it! Well done, fantastic inspiration! Unfortunately I'm having a similar problem to the one you encountered regarding chemicals in the swimming pool. I can bike, I can run, I just daren't swim!! It's got to the point now that I am struggling to get in the pool. It would seem every pool in my local area uses chlorine compounds in huge quantities! I will find a way though, even if I have to swim in the Humber!......... Under moonlight......... to avoid arrest! |
