Edinburgh to North Berwick 20 mile RR tomorrow. The weather forecst is brilliant- sunny but cool with a 17 mph tailwind. Please let this be accurate! |

Anyone do the Balloch to Clydebank half today? just had an email saying the timing hardware was gubbed. Anyway, had a great run and PB'd by a good 5 mins. Now just hoping the time isn't "lost". Good luck to everyone else racing today...some wind to contend with in certian places. |

Don't really know how zoned out you'd have to have been to miss the turnaround point but I suppose anything's possible when you're focused on your running. Hope they didn't go too far. Given that there were mile markers all the way, people running back towards us in the opposite direction, a guy in the middle of the road shouting "turn" at everyone, and various other clues, I don't think the fault lay with the organisation here! |

Did the LK Half - what a brilliant race and hopefully the first of many. The organisers should seriously consider making this a permanent fixture on the running calendar. Up there with my favorite halfs. On the race- it's definately not a PB course. I didn't see a profile of the course before hand and massively underestimated the hills towards the turnaround point, and although I managed to get up them all with no stops I didn't have a lot left in the legs from about 9 miles onwards. As has been mentioned the headwind was a bit on the stiff side too. Not grumbling about any of this though because that stuff's the reason you do this type of race. |
