I have a pair of 2XU tri shorts which I love - they have a small red pad and I love them but they are worn out and I need some new ones.
I bought some new 2XU tri shorts and they have NO PADDING in them! eh? They have like a fleece lining but no padding. I like them but over 30miles on bike and it starts to hurt.
I have been shopping around online for some more but am nervous about buying some more in case they come with this fleece thing and not padding. The descriptions seem to talk about speed chamois (??) LTB padding (??) - I don't know what this means - I want a photo of the padding I will be getting but none of them seem to have any photos of the inside.
Can anyone advise or had this experience or know what I need to avoid to end up with this fleece thing again?
I have always run in Nike Air Pegasus 31 and love them. A few years ago after being plagued by shin splints I had some custom orthotics made and I was under the impression that I needed to stick to the same brand/model of trainer for the orthotics.
I have been looking for a new pair of Nike Air Pegasus and just can't seem to find any I like for under £90. So my questions are:
- has anyone swapped from Nike Air Pegasus to another brand/make and been happy with them?
- do custom orthotics work in any type of trainer? (they don't fit in my fell or trail shoes but I am only thinking about road trainers for the purposes of this post)
If it makes any difference I am a bit of a fatty so these trainers are going to take some pounding!
