Fantastic event for those wanting a flat fast 10km with a few conpromises. Track is pure speed I would say, the cobbles over last half mile felt a bit brutal on tired legs, but definite pb course and perfect conditions. Well done to the organisers, this years organisation, particularly the new runners car park at good price were a huge improvement on last year. easier to get in and out too. nice medal and I'll aim to return next year. Thank you to them and congrats to all those who took part.

Hi mate. Have you seen the footage on youtube? Saw you come over the line ahead of the "musical chairs" guy, who we seemed to keep passing and then being re passed by in second half of race. Thought you looked a bit tired but yeah great effort. I really enjoyed the run and think we both sort of helped one another at different points to get the times we did. Think I'm just getting over the shock of my time as I would have been happy with anything under 74. We couldn't have asked for better conditions I suppose and all "my gang" ran quicker than they expected. Course was much flatter than I expected too though that climb to the finish is a bit of a killer. Definitely hope to run it again next year, when again I plan to hang onto the coat tails of another speedster through early miles! Hope future runs go well for you, I'm gonna do a local south yorks race this month (5 miler) and then give it some stick in lincoln 10k end of March. What are your running plans? Any targets in mind? As I said after the race I thoroughly enjoyed running with you and hope I see you again either at Ferriby 2013 or elsewhere. Many congrats on your time & hope you keep enjoying the running.

Cheers

Rick
