| Any ideas for getting to this by public transport? The race info says the nearest station is Witley, at 3 miles away, but it's actually over 7. I was going to get a bus from Guildford but they don't run on Sundays. I'm not keen to pay for a taxi, but a 7 mile walk each way might be pushing it a bit! |

Also try SportPursuit: http://www.sportpursuit.co.uk/ You need to register, which is free, then they have massive discounts. Not all their sales are running stuff (also hiking, skiing, swimming, cycling etc.), it takes a while to arrive when you've ordered it (3 weeks or so) and there's not a huge amount of choice, but the brands are good quality and discounts are often around 70% - I've been really pleased with the stuff I've got from there. (Also, I've never needed 2 bras - I'm a DD, so don't know if that's the sort of range you're looking at - but either way BodyGlide, as recommended to me by people on here, worked wonders re chafing). |

Thanks for the other suggestions - I was planning to get some bodyglide, so might try that first!. I've had a look at this article, though: http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/kit/how-to-choose-a-sports-bra/3747.html which says sports bras need replacing every 30 to 40 washes. Is that right? It sounds like a fairly short life if you use it several times a week and wash it each time. |
