Definately check with your gp - I had similar pain once and was advised it was a condition called costochondtitis, which is inflamation of the connective tissues between the ribs. Told to avoid any heavy lifting and take ibuprofen - resolved within a few days. definately worth getting checked over.
A few weeks ago I ran a track marathon, which was great fun, but afterwards suffered from a tight hamstring and glutes on one side. It has loosened off by keeping away from the track for a couple of weeks and have booked a sports massage. I have also where ever possible chosen running routes in a clockwise direction. Has anyone else suffered similar problems?
Neil - any idea where /when the results will be posted - you have mentioned in one of the previous comments about the race not counting towards UKA rankings, however the race is showing up as being listed on UK Athletics Run Britain site. Will the results be posted on RunBritain or one of the many race results sites?
