For those at the higher end of the sub-3 category, circa 2h55, what sort of HM times are you producing or have you produced?
I've seen comments from people running 80mins but not going under 3hrs for full mara, yet others running more like 85mins yet dipping under 3. I assume it always differs from person to person but I'm looking to run sub 3 next year and want to get some idea whether my target HM is enough to translate into a good shot at it.
Current HM is 87mins, off 20 miles max a week, hoping to get this down to 85mins with increased mileage and more focused training though. Mcmillan shows 85mins translating to a 2hr59 marathon but not sure how much weight to put on this.
