I still run with my arthritis.I have it in my neck, middle back and lower back,occupational hazzard(chef).Try a good anti-inflamatory with a paracitamol.Also try to train on softer ground to lesson the impact.Take it easier and you'll still enjoy running.I'm just warming up to train for the great north run.

Hi, after several months of this that and the other treatment,sugery for me is the only option.Trouble is I have to be in a plaster for four weeeks then physio.How can I maintain fitness.Any idea's?

Just getting ready to start training for the great north run again ,but have to have an operation on my achilles.I will be in a plaster for four weeks, followed by physio.Help,How can I maintain fittness level?and how long  before running again?Anybody got any advise or experience?

I have the same problem with my breathing.It takes 2kms before things start to settle down.Had a check up and found I have high blood pressure.May be have a check up.KEEP ON RUNNING.
