Ohhhh. Fun email, I completely forgot I signed up for The Hope Skeleton Run. http://www.theskeletonrun.co.uk./ it's a 5m trail run in the dark on the 31st of October. I don't normally do weird runs, but it looked fun and it's close to home, so I signed up for it. Now given the awful month i've had it's going to be great coming back with a torchlit nightime run at the end of the month.
I'll see how I feel this weekend and might go out for a run but it all depends on how I feel. Might go for a hike with OH n Dog on Saturday and then if I feel ok after that have a short run Sunday, if not, then 5k mid next week, and then the Hope Skeleton thingy at the end of next week
tricia: ran on 3rd nd then last saturday i tried my race. That's is so far so not trying again until this weekend. Really feeling a lot better today, a little bit of a cough but no sneezing etc... So certainly gettnig a lot better just having to be patient which i HATE
Still crap, getting better but it just will not go, still cough if i try running up stairs. frankly coughing just walking up them.
A grand total of 30km so around 18 miles so far in October!! What a nightmare. I think i'm just going to tell myself to stop stressing and not think about running until this weekend, and then just start out carefully with a few short runs completely set me back, and it's really frustrating but that's life.
