We are in Conistion YH for the Friday night only - must be back over east for GNR on Sunday - but I thought that there were beds left in Hawkshead YH last time I checked on line (I believe that the SWs are in there). Hope that you find somewhere suitable CA
Had my son with me who was due to do the Sports Trail - so we ran an extended version of that following along the main run route for a while longer with other runners from Fetch - a great course and we had fun in the rain (the shorter course was fine even after all the rain - although I understand that the cancellation was not due to any problem on the course). So disappointing that the even could not go a head and I feel for Graham and Claire and thier team - I know a massive effort was put in to keep this event on and it must be devastating that they were thwarted in the last hours.
I hope that there will be at least an element of wetness Cat - a dry pub does not sound like much fun! I will accept that one in which it does not rain is preferable.
