Can anyone say exactly where the start line is, which route the race follows and where the finish line is? Also, where's best for car parking? I will be rushing over after work and don't know Littleborough that well. My "team" of supporters (my wife and her mate) want to know where's best to stand!
Same problem here as well. Not run for 2 weeks but look like being OK again by the end of this week. Worried that missed the most important part of training i.e. the 2 longest runs. Does anyone out there have any experience of the "couch potato" approach to tapering. Will we be so refreshed that the miles whizz by or should we be re-setting our target times?
Drove a car up Buncer Hill recently and had to drop to 1st gear and nearly stalled! The hill goes on for half a mile or so but the steepest bit is only 100yds or so. It's one of those sections where walking can sometimes be faster than running. Just pretend you're a fell runner!
