LOL! Eloise projectiled poo all over me the other night......lovely. It was all down my top and jeans. So they went straight in the wash.....with pockets full of tissues. Don't you just hate that?

Eloise is still waking twice a night - we think she may be a bit cold, as she doesn't eat that much when she wakes, so she's going in the grobag tonight, see if that helps (she keeps kicking off the blankets in the moses basket).

Put a stew in the oven for tonight, so I can go for a run - hoping to hit the heady heights of 2 miles or so tonight! (I know that's really low for you lot doing hundreds of miles a week, but it feels about right for me at the moment, and that will probably take me over 20 minutes!)

CC - had to laugh at the no pudding threat - I do that one too! Only problem is, 2 years old, and she's already negotiating with me....I say '5 more mouthfuls' she comes back with '2 more'.........it takes forever sometimes, but I NEVER change my mind!

Poor Emily - there's a lot of it going around! I hope she is okay and you can all get a restful night.

CM - I think J might surprise you with the new baby. Amelie also doesn't always play on her own (maybe I've indulged her a bit, as I feel that as he's at nursery 3 days a week, or rather was, that I should spend time with her). And she always got jealous when I held another baby of friends and family. However, she absolutely adores Eloise, and will kiss her goodnight, but not me! She is fascinated by her, and is very protective. So much so that when I went to pick her up from nursery tonight, I put E on the floor (in the car seat!) and E was surrounded by the other kids. Amelie ran over starting pushing all the other kids away going 'Mine...MINE' and getting very upset that they were poking her. But we did tell her quite early, and when we saw a picture of a baby, we just said 'we're going to have one of those soon' and she just said 'Yeah' like she does with everything, and we thought it hadn't sunk in. But a lot more had than we expected, and she was evry excited when we brought her home. (We also bought a train for Amelie from the baby!!)

I can't believe the mileage you lot are putting in! Then again, If I could run faster than my slightly above walking pace, then I could probably fit a lot more in!! LOL!

I was going to go out again tonight, but quite sore, so giving myself another nights rest and will go out tomorrow. Got the outlaws coming this weekend, so they can babysit for us so we can have a lay in AND go running! But in order to go out tomorrow night, I have to do some chores tonight.......I'm a bit anal about cleaning...especially when we have visitors. It's ridiculous I know......Just call me Monica.

Just trying to read back and hit all the posts about b/f. I've decided some people are just not meant to b/f and thank god for formula. With my first, my milk never came, so had to do formula. With this one it came (just in time) but dried up after 2.5 weeks. Why I have no idea, as I'm a good eater (as my photos testify! Could do with eating a lot less!) Yet I still feel 'what if I tried harder' the guilt is immense, and I can totally sympathise with those of you that stopped and felt very emotional. It is a lovely thing while it lasted. But I felt terrible for that short period of b/f - I had a constant sore throat and headache. I was drinking LOADS, but always felt thirsty. So I think there's something wrong with my boobs!!!!

But it does mean that I don't have to worry about feeding in public, and trying to time my runs. I have enough trouble trying to find the time as it is.

Did anyone else find that when the 2nd one comes along you feel like neither of them is getting the attention they deserve?

Apologies - very self absorbed posting - I'm trying to catch up with you all - honest!

Hi all. Qucik post (again) you all seem to be doing tremendously well with the running and children! If I had a hat on, I would take it off. I will raise an eyebrow instead, in a Roger Moore stylie. (If anyone is too young to know what I'm talking about - apologies - ask your parents)

Well - I actually managed to go out for a run last night. Had a tricky day with the two of them, so made a shephereds pie, and went out while it was in the oven leaving hubby holding the fort. I don't know how far or fast, as I deliberately didn't take any timing or measuring equipment with me. But it felt GOOD. Slight ache down the outside of my thighs today, but nothing major. Now if I can just shift this two stone it would be a whole lot easier......

So, just got to build up to my 10k in April now.
