I can't get up on my toes Jason, or even the balls of my feet. I am just about heel striking in order to protect whatever is up, hence the lack of race trainers last night too.

I did enjoy though, ran it quite tactically, slowly at first, then on the outward leg where we had the headwind tucked myself in behind someone else then moved on a bit when we hit the hills. It was the least painful that race has ever been for me. I am only sorry I did not give it more of a go now but still happy with what I produced.

I have to say that your lean physique stuck fear in to my heart ! Once you have lost the weight it is only a matter of time before you are way in front.

Evening ... Did the Talley 5k tonight. Took it easy and ran 18:35 over a hilly course. Adam did the kids mile which is also hilly. He paced himself very well running it in 9:45. Don't know his place yet but it should be good.

Jones, .... 9.5 stone ! I am 11st 10. Lightest I have been recently is 11st 4. I was 12st leaving school. You can do those times too, your running form is excellent and light-footed.

Tracey, I love gadgets but don't buy them willy-nilly. Wife has an ipad.

Did Talley tonight. Have bad foot so not eyeballs-out. Ran 18:25 so not too bad. Saw Jason 'Kale' Dickenson or '1 Mushroom' as someone else referred to him in light of his diet. He is looking less porky than he used to. He is indeed looking more lean.

Nice to see Mm61 too, you ledgend. You will still be at it when I am in a nursing home !

It's been lobbing it down here too. Dry now though.

Knackered after being up with Daniel. His bowels seem to have stopped squirting now though albeit his butt is raw. Not nice. Hopping my parents can take over the childcare in an hour or so.

Am considering that I may have to take some time off running as my toe is not too good.

Steve, I have to say last time I saw you running you were looking light on your feet. Any forthcoming targets or races for you and MrsJ ? Good luck with the survey.

Tracey, if she does not want the kindle I'll have it.
