How long did you take, Tracey? I am going to aim for under 4 hours 30 if the weather is good. Think this means I'll probably be last, but I don't mind too much. I know the course now and will carry my own water/gels, so I'll tell Sam not to force the marshals to wait for me if I'm really far back
I am! It's my first time... I used to work for Sam at the shop and always wanted to do this run, but never dared to before this year. Finally my legs (and my hill training) have caught up with my head, so I've entered.
Was out on the course today and last week - just managed the Big W for the first time today if anyone can run up that bloody thing, I'll be very impressed!
Got my 20 done last Sunday, trying to decide whether to do another long run (18-20) this Sunday or to start to shorten the long runs now.
Had a fantastic 20, for some reason everything clicked and I felt great for a lot of the run (across beautiful countryside in the South Downs, so lucky to have this terrain within running distance!) Hope I feel like that on 23rd August...
