Converted from cycling in 2005.
2010 saw pbs of about 43m for 10 km and about 1:43 for half, giving me a WAVA in the 70s for the first time ever. 2011 started with half pb at 1:42:12. The big achievement in 2011 was completing the Swiss Alpine K42 in 5:23. That might sound slow but there's nearly 2000 m of climbing and descending. Trained for Connemara ultra in 2012, longest training run 50 km in 5:43. Missed that due flu but set a 10 km and 5 km pb soon after, on the back of ultra training ? :) Got BQ and Boston place 2013 later in the year.
