I remember saying to someone years ago, look at that runner, what a twat, why doesnt he just sit outside in this beer garden and have a beer...how ironic ! I completed the London Marathon in 2003 and swore blind I never wanted to do it again...then did Rome in 2004 (although was too lazy to put the training in) and then did the New York Marathon in 2005. Running is a hard habit to break!
