I am a: serious competitive athlete I have been running for: Over 10 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: 21-30 Running club / race organisation: I am a member of a running club I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland, treadmill My most important reason for running is: to get/stay in shape
My three favourite events are: Favourite: 10K Next Favourite: 10 Mile Third favourite: Half-marathon I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Walking (power walking/fitness walking)

I am in my fifties, took up road running as a sport after leaving the MN, while I was at sea I used to keep fit any way I could and run when ever we got into a port, which meant I ran in some pretty exotic places. I train with a running club in Titchfield and my PB's are improving all the time, I've entered the Great South Run for the third time and will be training hard to improve on last years time, meanwhile I'm hoping to run one 10K a month.
