I am a: regular recreational runner I have been running for: 3-5 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: 31-50 Running club / race organisation: I am a member of a running club, I am a race organiser I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland, athletics track, fell My most important reason for running is: to get/stay in shape
My three favourite events are: Favourite: 10 Mile Next Favourite: 10 Mile Third favourite: Fell I take part in events: 25-52 times a year I also do these sports: Gym (weight training), Road cycling, Swimming, Walking (hill walking)

Overweight so started running in Jan 2007.
Used to play football until it started getting in the way of running (2 months off for broken big toe).
Can now do sub 20min 5ks, sub 100 min half marathons and sub 4 hour marathons.
Future goals - sub 90 min Half, sub 70 min 10 mile, sub 3h30m mara, sub 40m 10k.
Still overweight because "I run therefore I eat" but the eating bit has improved due to seconds off PBs meaning more to me than inches of waist.
Status: In training fro Cardiff Half & Snowdonia in same week - 39.3 miles!
