I am a: beginner I have been running for: Under 1 year I run this many times a week: 1-3 times My weekly mileage is about: 20 or less Running club / race organisation: I am a member of a running club I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland My most important reason for running is: to lose/maintain weight
I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Road cycling, Swimming, Walking (power walking/fitness walking)

I have a Shih Tzu puppy which was my retirement present to myself. I have joined the Women's Running Network and am at present on week 9 of a 10 week beginners course. Looking forward to my first race, which is a relay section of 3.3. miles of a local half marathon. Should be a challenge.
