I have run the London Marathon 4 times (2001, 2002, 2007 & 2008). Best time was 4.45 and worst time was over 7hrs!!! Have done NO exercise for over 5 years and have ballooned to 21 stone! I NEED to lose weight and get fit again, so am aiming to run the London Marathon in 2017, aiming to start training slowly and increase by 1 mile a month.
