I always hated running when I was at school. I just couldn't do it and didn't get what all the fuss was about - definately not a natural. After having the kids I decided in January 2008 that I was going to do the Great North Run - and that's how it all started...
Quickly became addicted, and so now I love it and couldn't imagine life without it - even though I am still not really any good at it (slow and dodgey knees).
Running has now become my "me time" when I'm not "Mum" (of boy 5 and girl 3) or "the missus" I'm just me - and I quite like being me.
