I am a: regular recreational runner I have been running for: 1-3 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: 21-30 I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland, fell My most important reason for running is: to get/stay in shape
My three favourite events are: Favourite: Trail races Next Favourite: Cross-country Third favourite: 10K I take part in events: 12-24 times a year I also do these sports: Mountain biking, Walking (hill walking), Walking (power walking/fitness walking)

Love being outdoors, walking, love the alps and chamonix. unfortunate that i work in an office then! Trail running is my favourite, along with my devoted running buddy, my dog. My currently unachievable goal would be to do the UTMB, so for the moment i'll work towards something smaller! Have completed the London marathon last year but in an embarrassing time so a lot of room for improvement, however having discovered i don't really like road running, will be aiming for an off road marathon this year, and working up to it slower.
Status: I run. . because there will be a day when I can no longer run. Today is not that day.
