Update May 2013. Lost 6 stone in a year of dieting. I have now run two marathons, and I am still very slow but my pb is now down to 4:56:13 so I cracked the 5h barrier.
I was fat, but getting skinnier. I started dieting in March at 15st 8lbs (March 21st 2012) now 11st 10lbs (August 30th). Had my first run in May 2012. Hoping to run my first Marathon on 14th October 2012.
Well I managed the marathon slow.. 5:30:22 but I did it. Diet went ok lost 5.5stone down to 10st 1lb. So a lot healthier and fitter in 8 months.
Another update It's late Jan 2013. I've ran a total of 465 miles so far and i'm down to 10 stone. So running has really helped change my life, along with WeightWatchers.
I'm a little insane, I work in IT, I'm in love with books. I have a dog, that's about it.
