I started running in May 2006 and stopped in September due to injury. I have restarted this April (2007) and am making good progress. I have done three 10ks and two 5ks this year. Training is mainly a mix of road and off road running starting off northbound from Enfield into the rural green belt. The local playing fields are good for shorter runs and interval training. Previous to my running I did a lot of cycling, including riding a racing tricycle, tandem and tandem tricycle. I'd like to try a triathlon if I wasn't such a rubbish swimmer!
Another injury in Nov 2007 stopped me running for a while. Since June 2008 however the running has being going really well and I manage to race most weekends - and I'm getting faster!
