 More about me
Been running regularly now for over 4 years. Run 3-5 times a week over varying mileages, prefer off road running and use the local mountains for my LSR training. Really enjoying my running too, even the long runs which are usually on my own! Completed Clarendon Marathon 2010, my first marathon event. Was planning to chalk the distance off and wasn't contemplating doing any more, but I found it strangely enjoyable and plan to do some more :) I'd hoped to go under 4 hrs for the marathon but came in at 4:08, although thick mud and 2,300ft of climbing didn't help ;) Got my PB at half marathon distance 1:37 and 10K 43:42 in 2010 too. Also do a lot of cycling, mostly off-road but I do have a road bike as well which I find good for building stamina and enjoyable too [on the right roads]. Apart from that we go walking as a family fairly frequently and enjoy swimming.
