I am a: regular recreational runner I have been running for: Over 10 years I run this many times a week: 4-6 times My weekly mileage is about: 21-30 Running club / race organisation: I am a member of a running club I do these types of running: road / pavement, trail / grass / woodland My most important reason for running is: to feel better about myself
My three favourite events are: Favourite: Marathon Next Favourite: Half-marathon Third favourite: 10K I take part in events: 1-11 times a year I also do these sports: Road cycling

I have been running on and off for approx 30 years,I love it and in 1982 I ran my first marathon 2.48 a PB in Nottingham. My most recent marathon was 2010 VLM in 3.55 I have chronic arthritis called 'Ankylosing Spondylitis'(diagnosed in 1990) which does interfere with training, Im just greatful to run. I have run ten other marathons, loads of half marathons,& 10ks. I am greatful I can still run and compete ( somewhat!) and still appreciate the feel good feeling of running no matter what speed.
