Well I've always loved sport but not necessarily running!
I've always been facinated by the London Marathon hoping one day that I could do it, just to say I can. What an achivement it is for every finisher.
However for whatever reason, when I entered upper school, I put on alot of weight. I still loved my sport but I was seriously unhealthy.
Come age 21 (I shouldn't have left it so late, I know) I thought enough was enough and I went from about 17st to 11st in a year. I was very proud of myself, so much so I entered the GNR 2010, eek! Now 23, I'm happy with myself as I am fit and healthy and finished my first race, the GNR, in 1:54:27.
