Garmin Forerunner 301
Posted: 12/09/08
'BRILLIANT'
Strengths:
1. Heart beats per minute for each interval.
2. Good screen
3. Fabulous value for money against the 305 and 405.
4. 15 hour battery (the 405 only has 8 hours!!)
Weaknesses:
None so far
Overall:
I got this after reading the reviews of the 305 and 405. The 405 seemd unreliable, the 305 looked too bulky. Halfords sell the 305, and I tried it on, and it was huge!!

The 301 does everything I want it to, having 2 screens, one for HR, the other for pace is brilliant.

No probs with accuracy, not working or finding signals.

I would recomend it!!!!

'YEP, DOES THE JOB'
Strengths:
Good support, thats all you need. I found it comfortable and didnt dig in either.
Weaknesses:
I found it difficult to get off when wet, it tended to scrunch up into a tiny band of material and found it difficult to get off. Its my first attempt at a bra with the criss-cross back, so I dont know if it is the same for all these types of bra.
Overall:
Well, I went and bought a further two. Is that a recomendation?? Im a 36 B.

'EXCELLENT, BETTER THAN ASICS TRAIL SHOES'
Strengths:
Lovely feel, great for trails
Weaknesses:
Toe box doesnt seem very high.
Overall:
I wold recomend this shoe. Im an Asics fan through and through, but this shoe feels a lot more comforatble than the Asics trails.Asics miles better on roads, but this one is brilliant for anything in soft ground. Not tried in really bad conditions though. The Ladies colour isnt tooo bad for a trail shoe either.
