Overall: I bought these to run short distances in triathlons as they have a liner allowing them to be worn comfortably without socks. But I found them so good that I now wear them all the time. My latest run was a 50 mile race along the Thames Path that they managed without any trouble. It's like running in your favourite slippers.
Strengths: Very good value if all you want is a basic HRM with high and low training zones. The display is very clear and the functions are easy to use.
Weaknesses: It doesn't store or display any more advanced information such as average, min and max HR. It can also be tricky to get a heart rate signal sometimes.
Overall: Very good value if you're starting training by heart rate but you may quickly decide that you want more advanced features.
Strengths: Very light, stable shoe. It feels much lighter than comparable stability shoes. It is also more flexible then my previous shoe (Saucony Omni 3) and provides a better "feel" for the surface you're running on.
Weaknesses: The stitching on the logo rubs my foot. It requires a bit of lace adjustment to stop it rubbing but it would be better if Mizuno changed the construction slightly.
Overall: Very good shoe for people who require stability without sacrificing flexibility.
